NATIONAL PARTNERS ANNOUNCED

Ever wondered what Facebook software engineering professionals do or did you know that Network Rail engineering professionals work in digital, telecommunications, environment as well as innovation/R&D?  Who knew that engineering at Gatwick Airport isn’t all about planes?  Well, here’s your chance to find out because Facebook, Network Rail and Gatwick Airport have become National Partners for the ‘If you were an engineer, what would you do?® competition and their engineers will be available to be interviewed around the UK and via our live online interviews.  So whether you’re in the Highlands of Scotland, on Jersey or anywhere in between, pupils from 3 -19 can interview an engineering professional and design a solution to a problem they’ve identified to enter the competition.

Each year, the ‘If you were an engineer, what would you do?®’ competition has tens of thousands of pupils from 3 -19 from schools across the UK come up with ideas to make the world a better place. Designs are then selected and built by British universities and exhibited across the country. Register your school for 2019/20 here
