Masterclass
The Leaders Award Masterclass has been developed to help teachers embed delivery of the competition within their schools and to promote innovative thinking, teaching and problem-finding. The course has been based on the teacher lead research evidenced in the Primary Engineer Postgraduate Certificate course.
It shares the good practice of the teachers and encourages Early Years, Primary and Secondary school teachers to link the skills in industry to the Curriculum at each educational phase. Providing ‘Innovative Solutions’ is at the core of this programme. It was devised as a way for Engineers to inspire children and has been highly successful, but it has also resulted in children Inspiring engineers.
