Grading Days 2020

Book your place on one of our grading day events across the UK to help grade 3-19-year-old 'If you were an engineer what would you do?' competition entries - be inspired and help inspire the next generation of engineers!

Engineering grading #ifyouwereanengineerwhatwouldyoudo competition

One very important aspect of this competition is the young people entering it know an engineer is going to read their idea and give it a grade. This is a significant factor in the process of inspiring young people with engineering. It is also, to be fair, as inspirational for the engineers involved!

This year everything has changed, and we are all adapting to extraordinary circumstances. However, our solution is not to give up but to ramp up… we have shifted the deadline to September, we will be providing free downloadable resources so the project can be completed at home and a whole new list of on-line interviews with engineers that will be publicly available is to follow.

Our challenge, it may well be that we have even more entries and we will need your help more than ever before to help us grade and inspire those who have taken part. The events listed below will be re-scheduled and at this stage we do not know when, if however you would like to take part in any of them, please register on our engineer’s page here and we can send you information about dates as soon as we know them. Your help is vital and so very appreciated.

Our ‘Engineers Inspiring Children Inspiring Engineers 2020’ badges are new each year and this year’s will be more collectable than ever given these challenging times! How do you get one? Easy, they are freely available at all the grading day events…

Are you interested in the engineering grading #ifyouwereanengineerwhatwouldyoudo competition? To find out more and register your attendance please click on the Eventbrite links below, be aware more dates are to be confirmed. Please note all we require is for you to give us at least an hour of your time and you are more than welcome to stay as long as you wish or drop in and out.
